Enjoying the Outdoors Whatever the Weather

It is no secret that we like to get out and about most days whether that be for a big day out or just a dog walk Amelia loves the outdoors and to be honest so do I. The forecast for the day was rain in the afternoon and it had rained over night so I thought it was a great opportunity for Amelia to wear her new Puddle Suit from Outdoor Look.

Outdoor Look is an online retailer of outdoor clothing and other items. They stock a huge variety of brands including; Regatta, Helly Hansen, The North Face, Joules, Crocs, Trespass and Animal. The website has a huge variety for both children and adults and there are lots of great prices on the items.

Amelia was in need of a new puddle suit as her previous one had been worn to death and was getting a bit snug. I went for another one from Regatta in a size up the; Regatta Girls Puddle III Baby Waterproof Breathable Rainsuit in Pink.

It was just the right waterproof clothing Amelia needed for our trip to Kingston Lacy. We went out into the woodland dog walking side where the grass is a bit longer and the mud is sometimes unavoidable. I know that when Amelia is wearing her rain suit she can enjoy the outdoors without me worrying about her getting wet or mud on her clothes.

There is a fab play area at Kingston Lacy with tree stumps and logs to climb on and tunnels to go through, Amelia was able to really enjoy this today climbing through a wet tunnel and jumping from log to log keeping her clothes protected and preventing her from getting wet.

We did actually get a bit lost in the woods today, all for a good cause…a photo! I spotted the bluebells and knew we had to head up into the woods for a photo op, a typical blogger! That did however lead us going a bit off route and stomping through loads of stinging nettles and long grass. I was so pleased Amelia had her puddle suit on at this point as it meant no stings went through her clothes and again keeping her nice and dry.

I love these suits they are fab for keeping in the car and just throwing on if when you get somewhere and it’s not as dry as you thought it might be. Amelia can get stuck into puddle jumping and stomping in the mud without me needing to change her clothes or stop her from enjoying herself.

The fit of the puddle suit is great and the taped seams mean that it is super waterproof but still a breathable, lightweight piece. It also has a hood with the little cap on the top so if she is wearing it when it’s raining her face would stay dry. I love the brightness of the pink and it has a little cloud design next to the logo on the leg, which is really sweet. As well as the brightness it also has reflective strips. These are all added bonuses, Amelia is one for running ahead but you can’t miss her in a bright pink puddle suit that’s for sure!

The item arrived from Outdoor Look in really great time and was packaged nicely. Outdoor Look have loads avaliable on the website so it is definitely worth checking out when after outdoor wear including clothing for yourself or your children.

Gorgeous I love the wellies. I have never had any wellies in my life I don’t think. My boy has none either. You’d be surprised living in Ireland.I really need to invest in some but he can be awkward sometimes wearing certain shoes.
