Mother Daughter Matching-
I loved writing the last What Amelia Wore post and I’m excited to share the next instalment; The Mother Daughter Spring Stripes. A few weeks ago I popped into Sainsburys and spotted this beautiful shirt on the sale rail and I couldn’t resist. Then when I was looking in the children’s section I found an almost identical version that I had to get it. One because the shirt is totally Amelia’s style and two because matching tops…please!!
Mine is a stripe shirt with a v-neckline and gorgeous bell sleeves. I love the combination of colours of the bright blue and pink flowers. A definite spring number. Amelia’s version is more of a drop blouse again stripey and floral and with a flouncy sleeve than Amelia initially said was “too fussy” but then grew to like. It’s really lightweight which makes it perfect for wearing it throughout Spring/Summer. I’m actually quite a fan of Sainsbury’s clothing; they always have some nice bits. They have 25% off quite a lot and a tonne of stuff in the sale as well.
Amelia wore the shirt with a pair of skinny pale pink jeans which are actually from Primark. I don’t shop there much but really rate their kids jeans, they have adjustable waists, are a great fit for Amelia and wash up really nice. She chose to wear her navy sparkly boots which have seen better days as you can see the scuffs on the toes! I loved the outfit and think it suited her really nicely.
I managed to get a couple of photos of us in our matching tops which is just a bit of fun; mini me. Amelia also didn’t take a totally awful one of me, she loves using the camera!
Were totally channelling Spring with these outfits and it makes me so excited for the spring weather. I’m really looking forward to not having to be piled up in jumpers and giant coats!
What do you think of our matching outfits?
Thanks for reading!xx
