We had the most magical time at Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park exploring what they have to offer this Christmas over the weekend. As if seeing the fish, penguins, otters and star fish isn’t enough over the Christmas period you can also meet Father Christmas.
It was actually really interesting to head over to the Park late in the afternoon we tend to normally spend the morning and early afternoon there but we got to catch loads of the animals feeding times which was really good. So we explored the park and got a good look at the fish and sea animals.
After we had a good look around the park we went and treated ourselves to a festive hot chocolate complete with lots of cream and marshmallows which was perfect for warming us up! There was also some kids colouring, word searches and letters for children to write to Father Christmas in the cafe so fab for keeping little ones occupied whilst you enjoy your hot drink.
It was then time for us to head over to the Stables to wait our turn to see Father Christmas! The Reindeer Stable was decorated with hay, festive bunting and loads of cute rustic Christmas decor which was a really nice touch.
When it was our turn we were greeted by a fun elf who was super friendly with Amelia and got her chatting which was great as I think she was a little nervous about meeting Father Christmas so it relaxed her nerves a little. We then walked over the board walk toward the Christmas forest. Amelia then had to wish for it to snow and then it started snowing which she was so excited about, it was truly magical!
After we made our way through the Christmas Tree forest we made it to Father Christmas’ cabin where he was waving to Amelia. The cabin was decorated amazingly; the fire burning, a gorgeous tree decorated and a basket full of presents. Amelia was a tad shy but Father Christmas was patient, calm and so lovely. He chatted to her and the whole experience didn’t feel rushed at all. He asked Amelia if she had been good this year and what she would like to Christmas and she answered all his questions and was so confident. She even went over and sat on his lap for a photo which was amazing. He really was an incredible Father Christmas!
I’m so pleased with how the photo turned out and there are loads of different photo options that you can buy; different frames with borders, a magnet or keyring or just a photo to make it extra special and a day to remember.
I thought what Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park had to offer was amazing and really very special for the children.I would definitely recommend it as a Christmas visit and he will be there until Christmas Eve before he has to go and make all his special Christmas deliveries!
