I missed the second week of Little Loves but back and ready to share with what we’ve been up to and loving this week! It’s been a mixed bag this week as midweek Amelia seemed to have a 24hr sickness bug that totally wiped her out for the day but she woke up Thursday feeling much better so that was lucky other than that the weather has been really nice so we’ve enjoyed getting out and about. I also had a HUGE sort out of my wardrobe and room and gave away 4 bags of clothing that I’ve probably not worn for a few years which always feels good!
Still no book here, I know worst person ever! But I’ve been reading lots online about my new camera about how to make use of it best and to make the most of it. Especially been loving posts on Stylonylon blog they’ve taught me a lot already!
This week I’ve been catching up on the most recent series of Made in Chelsea. It’s a series I tend to dip in and out of depending on my mood and at the moment I’ve been enjoying the reality TV so it’s been going down a treat plus it’s on 4OD so super easy to watch.
Amelia’s not really watched much else new this week as we’ve tried to cut a lot of TV time and instead of TV after dinner we tend to play games/puzzles instead.
I’ve been listening to the radio a lot again recently and Radio 1 is always my choice of radio as I do like to hear new music as well as the songs I like. I heard this song by Jorja Smith ft Maverick Sabre and I actually sat in the car in the drive to hear the whole song as it’s just so beautiful. Really calm and chilled. To be honest since hearing this song I’ve been listening to a lot from Jorja Smith and it’s all got a really chilled vibe to it which I like.
At the beginning of the week Amelia did some baking with Nanny using one of the BKD kits which are just so fab. They made chocolate biscuit dinosaurs which couldn’t have gone down any better with Amelia; chocolate and dinosaurs combined is just a winner! I love how kid friendly and modern the baking kits are. The pictures of what you need were fab as it meant Amelia could get all the bits out the cupboard and the steps are so easy to follow she could pretty much do most of it herself. The fun bit obviously was decorating the dinosaurs which looked so good when they were finished.
Coats!!! It’s been SOOO cold this week but pretty glorious at times; the sky has been blue and the sunsets have been pretty spectacular. We managed to catch a glorious pastel pink sunset the other afternoon whilst we were waking the dog at the beach and it was so pretty. Amelia’s also been wearing a new hat that I grabbed in the Mango sale that says ‘LADY’ and is just really cool.
After a day of Amelia being poorly and housebound we were keen to get out even for a little bit so we went out to feed the ducks and play pooh sticks. Armed with a bag of peas and oats (no bread for the ducks these days) Amelia loved feeding them, it’s so funny that the simplest of tasks can bring so much joy. Then we walked down and played pooh sticks off the bridge for ages. Amelia totally coordinated with the red bridge!
I’ve also put on some gym leggings and sports bra for the first time in about a gazillion years and worked out twice this week, feeling really positive about getting fit again this year!
More of one from last week but I got a scooter! In a bid to help build Amelia’s confidence with hers I got one for Christmas and well it’s been great fun getting out and about and scooting, something I never thought I would say but it’s so fun!!
Thanks for reading!xx
