First up is these Polystyrene Pumpkins.
After the success of Amelia being able to paint the ceramic hedgehogs I knew she would love this. Instead of just painting paper it was really nice for her to have something to hold and paint. As always they all ended up covered in a multitude of different colours but I let her have complete freedom with the pumpkins to do exactly what she wanted.
She concentrates so hard on painting and its so cute to watch. The simplicity of these polystyrene pumpkins allowed Amelia to think of things to do with them herself. She dipped one of them into the paint and asked for paper so she could stamp which I thought was really clever of her to think up herself.
They turned out great and with older children they could paint faces on them or different designs but for Amelia it was just as fun for her to cover them in as much paint as possible!
The other Halloween craft I have to share with you today is Stained Glass Lantern Kits.
The kits come with all the bits you need to make four different lanterns. This looked like such a fun kit but for Amelia it was just too difficult. She helped me with glue and choosing which colour tissue paper to use but there wasn’t really much else she could do with these. She got a bit frustrated that she couldn’t help me make them into the lantern shapes but was happy when she saw what they made. This is definitely one for slightly older children but still a brilliant kit from Baker Ross.
There are loads of Halloween craft supplies available for purchase on the Baker Ross website all at brilliant prices so be sure to check them out!
