A Home from Home; Great Little Trading Co Showroom

Over the weekend we took a trip to London for two very important things; one to stay with my sister and two to visit the Great Little Trading Company showroom.

As a long time fan of Great Little Trading Company this would have been a dream come true anyway but as of recently we’ve been fortunate enough to work super closely with the brand as testing team members so the thought of meeting all the people I’ve become friends with over emails and talked through bedroom and home interior ideas with as well as fellow testing team members made it even more special.

As we entered the showroom which is in Wandsworth I was greeted with smiling faces, handed a glass of Prosecco, given a little tour around the space and started meeting the wonderful team behind GTLC. Amelia was eager to get stuck into the toys whilst I was re-decorating bedrooms in my head based on the beautifully designed rooms hidden in the little nooks created within the GLTC Showroom.

I love the idea of the showroom, these days everything is done online which works perfectly but sometimes you want to look at it in the flesh give it a good touch to see if it really is the product described and with GLTC products you get just that. Long lasting products that stand the test of time and the test of little people hands that may sometimes be a bit rough.

Throughout our time at the showroom in between sipping Gin out of tea cups and nibbling on tasty canapés and cake pops Amelia was able to continue her role as a testing team member and give every toy in the room a good go! She loved the car garage, pirate ship and the cafe set up, given me some definite ideas for her birthday in August!

I’m referring to it as a showroom but it didn’t feel like that at all. A room full of beautiful products and lovely people; a home away from home.

A chance to look at the products and picture them in your own home and see the items put together in a way you may not have thought of yourself. In terms of storage GLTC have got it covered, from units in all shapes and sizes with boxes ready to be filled and with our houses filling with more and more things this leading smart storage is just what modern families need.

I find with Great Little Trading Company its the little touches that really made the products go the extra mile. You can feel this finishing touches in a big way around the showroom, from little dresses hanging to toys placed just like you would have at home.

I feel proud to be working with such a leading brand and to have watched them create this space and getting to view it first hand has made me want to fill my house with as much GLTC as possible.

I would definitely recommend going to the showroom if it’s possible to see the wonderful place for yourself!

Thanks for reading!xx

This looks amazing. I wish I could go. I love the company. We have a bookshelf in Matthews room from them and once chloe is old enough she’ll be getting one too. But they have so much more. I really want to get Matthew a bunk bed but I don’t know about the delivery to Ireland with that.

I love the simplicity of the displays, just using pattern in the rugs or duvet covers etc – my style completely! x

I love show rooms. Especially when they have the made up fake houses. IKEA being a firm favourite. It lets you dream.

Oh my goodness this looks like interiors heaven!! I must try and go myself at some point. All the rooms look gorgeous! I especially love the sprinkles range and the clouds with the grey would be perfect for a little boy. Glad you both had a fabulous time xxxx

I have been eyeing that dressing up rail for Eliza for ages – need to get bunk beds to make room first though
