Miles Kelly Collection Bag & GIVEAWAY

Miles Kelly Books Collage

I’m a bit bad when it comes to books. Although Amelia has loads we tend to stick to a few particular authors or classic favourites. So when I was asked if we wanted some Miles Kelly books after one look on the website I was super keen! It has really given us the chance to delve into something a bit different but it’s been lovely introducing Amelia to well known fairytales and rhymes in a book that Amelia can enjoy.

20151105_114155000_iOS

We chose the My Story & Rhyme Collection Bag which comes with 8 books complete with four fairytale books and four nursery rhyme books all inside a lovely little bag. This is such a lovely collection of picture books perfect for toddlers and young children learning to read and understand stories.

Amelia rreading collage

I absolutely love the illustrations of the books. The covers are glittery and the images are bright, colourful and engaging for little ones. Amelia loves pointing out all the characters she recognises. As the language is so simple Amelia’s already cottoned on to some of them and joins in with huffing and puffing in the Three Little Pigs!

Illustration collage

The nursery rhyme books are also really lovely. Perfect for daytime as you can sing all the songs and I’ve been teaching Amelia the actions to some songs we had forgotten about. Again with the age Amelia’s age she’s starting to sing to the particular tune of the rhymes so it’s really lovely to see her choosing favourites and ones that she recognises from these beautiful books.

Reading Collage

There are so many books available on the Miles Kelly website so make sure you check them out!
