Buying for Mother’s day can be hard as there is so much to choose from. I’ve already shared with you my Mother’s Day Gift Guide but here are some more great ideas from Photobox.
On a selected range of items Photobox has teamed up with Breast Cancer Care in a ‘Buy with Love‘ range where £1 from every item sold will be donated to Breast Cancer Care.
I got a selected range of items from Photobox to cover a gift for myself, a gift to my Mum and a gift to Amelia’s Nana and as usual I’m so happy with the products.
Last year I got some of the Photo Cushions that I still love so thought it would be nice to get another one to go with for my Mum. It has a photo of myself, Amelia and my Mum on which I think is really lovely and the size and quality of the cushion are perfect.
A little gift I got for my Mum is the Photo Love Mug. I love the heart shaped handle and it was easily personalised with loads of themes to choose from and space for photos.
I also chose a Retro Photo Canvas as a gift from Amelia to give to her Nana. It’s a nice recent photo from a day out at Stourhead. It’s a photo with Amelia and her Nana and Gramps as they both mean so much to her! I really like the style of the retro canvas with the space for the writing underneath.
Finally the gift I chose for myself was the Retro Photo Prints. As a huge photo taker it is really nice to get photos printed off to pop into albums or just have around so I love these Polaroid style prints. They come in a little magnetic case for storing them in and I’m really happy with the photo quality of them.
I looked at a couple of different ways of displaying the photos that were really fun and easy to put together and help make the photos look even better.
I’ve become really obsessed with washi tape, you can literally get hundreds of colours and designs and these pink and minty tones go perfectly with my bedroom so I made a polaroid washi display! It’s such a simple idea that looks really effective and as it’s only washi tape it doesn’t leave marks and can easily be changed about.
I also got some lace ribbon and little pegs and made some photo bunting. This is the easiest way to do it as your not making any permanent marks on the photos or holes and you can easily switch them about or replace the ribbon or string you use. Again it’s so easy, cheap and looks really effective and is a lovely way of making a bedroom/room feel a bit more homely.
I’m really happy with how the bunting turned out and this one is going to be a permanent feature in my room! I can switch the photos about and add some beads to the lace ribbon to make it a bit more fun and change the photos about whenever I want.
Don’t forget to check out Photobox for Mother’s Day gifts this year, even if it is a little treat for yourself!
