#MyFamilyAdventures – April

Another month is pretty much over bar a few hours. Would you believe I’m getting this round up done nice and early. April has been a bit of a funny month actually and I’m looking forward to starting a fresh in May.

The month has like most been busy with two weeks of Easter holidays, days out with friends, little walks here and there and finding out Amelia’s school place!

April started with glorious sunshine and we brunched at the beach and explored some beautiful gardens in Dorchester that we’ve never been to before. The weather has been a real mix of sunshine and cloud this month but that didn’t stop us getting out and about. We had two farm trips over the Easter holidays where Amelia had a pony ride and rode a donkey for the first time, which as you can imagine she was thrilled about! We went onto explore the local bluebell wood which is always beautiful, I am hoping to get back once more before they go. I’ve been without my camera for the entire month whilst it gets fixed so many of our adventures haven’t really been as well documented as I would have liked or I’ve been frustrated with the photos and bluebell snaps are ones I definitely want to get.

We had a lovely Easter weekend full of food and family and we had a fabulous day at Lulworth Castle. More about Easter weekend in a separate post!

We’ve ended the month with a big walk/scooter at Hengistbury Head where this Mama only went and fell of her scooter, ouch! The final day of April has been rain and it’s looking like that is how May is going to start but we did get out for a quick dog walk to break up the day.

Here’s Our Month in Photos;

May is looking to be exciting so come back next month to see what we got up too!

Thanks for reading!xx
