On Safari with Three

Myself and Amelia were invited to an exciting event at Marwell Zoo  and with it only being an hour away we jumped at the chance. I’ve not taken Amelia to Marwell yet but I’m super keen to get back and explore further after our taster during the out of hours Sunset Safari.

   Arrived at Marwell!
The event was with Three and whilst we were enjoying an after hours sunset safari we would be testing out a phone and uploading photos/tweets and being our general blogger selves on social media using the #onsafariwiththree. To be honest these days with contracts the way that they are having a phone using credit just never really seemed like an option so it was great to hear a bit more about it and actually test out a phone using credit! Three don’t want us to be worrying about running out of credit or being tied down to a contract and are here to #makeitright.

They are offering the lowest Pay As You Go rates in the UK. I was actually pretty impressed to hear the numbers behind the slogans; 3p a minute, 2p a text and 1p per MB of data and comparing it to other networks Three are just miles lower with their prices!! And it is a lot lower than what I would pay being on EE if I went to pay as you go. You can take a look at the comparison table here

Whilst we were at Marwell Zoo I was using the LG Spirit to upload photos to my instagram and keep everyone up to date on my social media! I was happy with the phone and soon got used to using the apps. Considering I’ve had an iPhone for the last 3 years I adapted pretty quickly however I didn’t upload as much as I would have liked as I was enjoying the fantastic experience of being in the zoo out of hours and of course running around after a very excited but well behaved Amelia!

It was such a fantastic opportunity; we were driven around the park in a train to make sure we got to see lots of the animals including; penguins, cheetahs, leopards, meerkats, zebras and get up close and personal with some giraffes which was amazing and of course I totally saw that as an opportunity to take a selfie!

Animal Spotting! Giraffe selfies

Amelia loved all the animals, was shouting all there names and just running around in excitement but didn’t forget true Amelia style and still managed to collect some sticks and stones! She loved the train we were on and looking out and spotting other animals. It felt really exciting to be there out of hours and to see somewhere that is usually full of people empty.

We were then treated to a delicious BBQ style dinner at Marwell Hall which is absolutely stunning and the team there put on such a good spread for us, we really were treated.

Amelia even got to feed a tiger at dinner and did some serious concentrating on her colouring. I felt like the event was just tied together so well. The rangers who showed us round were fantastic, the little added extras of colouring and a toy for the kids at dinner and the team that organised it and invited us were so so lovely!

It’s nice to know that credit is still an option especially for someone like me who is a bit of a social media addict and blogger! We had a fantastic time and Amelia even stayed wide awake for the journey home reading her magazine…bearing in mind she had only had a 30minute nap the entire day since being up at 8am! Think she enjoyed herself too much.

Would you believe that this little one stayed wide awake for the entire car journey home reading her in the night garden magazine after our sunset safari at Marwell! Now tucked up in bed after only 40 minutes sleep today and a mega late night. Such a fun evening! #onsafariwiththree

Thanks again to everyone involved with the event and make sure you check out Three and the brilliant offers they have.

Thanks for reading!xx

I need to take the kids here too! I used to always go when I was younger. Lucky to be able to enjoy it when it was quiet.
