Pizza Express is perfect for family dining. The range in food and drinks and totally child-friendly menu all at great prices makes it a great place for families to eat. We were invited to the new Pizza Express at the BH2 Leisure Complex in Bournemouth and it was such a great way to end the Bank Holiday weekend.
Myself, Amelia and my parents went down and loved the new restaurant, the decor inside is really cool, stylish and totally compliments the food and feel of the place.
There are lots of new additions to the Pizza Express menu including some aperitifs. I went for the Hugo St.Germain which has two of my favourite things in it; Prosecco and elderflower and my Mum had the Gin Spritz; gin with cucumber and mint presse another delicious choice. Such a nice way to start a meal and perfect for the Summer season.
Starters we went for dough balls to share with a few different dips the harissa was amazing and we also wanted to test out the new Risotto Primavera which was really delicious. Who doesn’t love Pizza Express dough balls, Amelia demolished her portion in record time!
Mains Amelia had the Bolognese and I tried the new Seafood Rigatoni which was delicious. My parents both had pizzas; I love how flexible they are with swapping ingredients around on pizzas to make it how you want it.
As it was a bank holiday we went the whole way and had puddings as well. Amelia got to choose from a couple of dessert options and just had the ice cream. I think the children’s menu is such good value for money and has a great amount of options to choose from. I had the chocolate fondant, my Dad had ice cream and my Mum had the smaller dessert of the salted caramel profiteroles that comes with a coffee (love this option!)
We were so so full and so happy with our meal and experience at Pizza Express at the BH2. The staff were so nice in there and our waiter gave us fantastic service throughout our time there.
Thanks for reading!xx
