Reasons to Holiday in Dorset

Having lived in Dorset my whole life I think I know it pretty well! We are always here and there in Dorset for days out and to explore new places we’ve not been to before.

I think that Dorset has so much to offer in terms of a UK Holiday from beaches to countryside and big days out to plenty of National Trust spots and beautiful places to stay.

There is almost 100 miles of coastline in Dorset and within that there are some gorgeous beaches including; Sandbanks, Weymouth, Swanage, Studland, Bournemouth, Lulworth, West Bay and Lyme Regis. They all offer something completely different but are all just as inviting.

Since growing up and always being by the sea with beaches ten minutes away I could never leave, we are at the beach at least once a week and love it just as much each time. Whether it’s a day by the seaside building sandcastles or a long dog walk along the shore the beach is a perfect addition to any UK holiday.

You can be assured that wherever you are in Dorset there is a beach not to far away!
