Tide Out – Sandbanks Beach

You all know how much I LOVE where I live and just adore the beach; I pretty much spam my Instagram feed with beach photos on a weekly basis. Living in Dorset means I am surrounded by a choice of beaches but my favourite and most local is Sandbanks in Poole. We popped down late this afternoon with the intentions of just a normal dog walk on the beach but as we drove down the peninsula I noticed that the other side of the beach (harbour side) the tide was out so far so we could walk there and splash in and out of the sand and in the shallows.

I popped my iPhone on self timer and just got loads of pictures of us frolicking around looking super natural and thought I would share them with you as I love love love some of them! My phone died before I could get some good ones by the boats but something for another day!

This is my favourite shot! Just me and my girl! Can’t decide which one I like more.

And this one has just been caught perfectly and I absolutely love it.

I love the beach, any beach, the sounds of the sea, the smells, nothing quite beats it.

No I don’t think I could do with one though. This side of the beach is surrounded by s big wall as it backs onto the road and as it was sooo quiet I just propped my phone up there!:) xx

Oh I love the last one! We are so lucky to live in this part of the world but I don’t visit the beach enough….I’m only in Upton so hardly far away! x

I keep dreaming of escaping to the beach. There is nothing like a quiet day at the beach off-season. I keep asking hubby if we can plan a weekend trip to the beach. Thank you for sharing your photo. Love the phone timer idea.

Oh I love them hun. What wonderful shots. It’s gorgeous that side. We often sit that side on the tiny sandy bit and hve fish and chils as it gets the last bit of the late evening sun. Such a gorgeous spot… And I didn’t even know an iPhone had a self timer!! How did I not know this?!

Thankyou. It was so lovely and peaceful over as no one else was around. I think the newest iPhones actually have self timer but this is an app called camera timer. Nothing fancy but does what it says and can do single/multi shots! X
