Toddler Bedroom Spruce Up | Giveaway!

DSCN3379

I really enjoyed decorating Amelia’s Bedroom but even new toddler bedrooms sometimes need a little spruce up.

The easiest way to change up a bedroom is with new bedding and I was delighted to get some from Castles For Rascals for Amelia’s bedroom. She has previously had a pastel butterfly patterned bedding so I chose something a bit bolder this time.

Castles For Rascals has a whole host of products for imaginative interiors with stylish but durable products including; bedding, lighting, furniture, fabric and bedroom accessories. Check out their website to see what they have to offer!

DSCN3380

I chose the Lamb the Lamb Single Bed Set as most of you already know we skipped the toddler bed and just went straight to a single bed – you can read all about that transition here

DSCN3382

The pattern is so bold and fun and I love that the duvet is double sided meaning two new looks for the bedroom. The bright pink background covered in the cute little white sheep one side and the alternative is a white background with pink spots.

CastlesForRascals Double

The bedding washed really nicely and is super soft and cosy which is a huge must for bedding in general but especially for the little people in our lives. You could mix and match the bedding which I’ve done having the duvet cover up one way with the alternative pillow side on show as I think that looks super cute and fits in with my mix matchy kinda style!

Amelia bedding

The duvet cover has what at first  I though was a rip but actually two little gaps in the fabric at the top to help you pull the duvet up inside the cover, which is a genius idea and there are no buttons or poppers making it a really quick duvet cover to get on and off.

DSCN3381

I’m so happy with the duvet set as it’s a nice way to make a bedroom feel refreshed again especially that the duvet is double sided. I think it makes Amelia’s room look really bright and it compliments all the rest of the décor in her bedroom.

A really good de-clutter is always a good starting point. Move out anything that has worked its way into the bedroom that doesn’t belong there, a good clear out of the wardrobes and a look at the storage if its not working for you (I’ve just done this in all the bedrooms and it has made a difference!).
